  • Greg the problem with your statement is you're assuming that people will buy cars from the Big 3. They are billions of dollars in debt and build a bad product. No car sales means no UAW. Forget about the trickle down effect. You are screwed.

  • A lot of people worked 30 years for a lot less, saved their money instead relying on some retirement fund.  Its called planning and being responsible.

  • I don't think you can look at this from a personal standpoint. Everyone feels for the people who will loose their jobs should GM sink but the reality is that they are not profitable and or competitive.
